The Ssamzie Art Space, located in Heyri, South Korea, was designed by Slade Architecture for Ssamzie Corporation as part of Heyri Art Valley. The project includes an “open storage” gallery that functions as a dynamic, occupiable shelving system, allowing flexible reconfiguration for changing exhibits. Visitors can explore vertically through staggered floors, enhancing engagement with the art collection. The design maximizes visibility of the collection, promoting interaction between art and visitors. Large windows provide natural light and views of the surrounding area, creating a visually immersive experience.
