Our exhibit, FOR_PLAY, focuses on projects that were designed for or include an element of play. The title also refers to the process of design, which often feels like play.  As our firm approaches its 10-year anniversary, we see these projects as preparation for others to come; foreplay to larger commissions. The exhibit is also about the design process, which is the foreplay that hopefully leads to the realized building. Some of the projects included are not built. In the context of an architecture school, students are preparing for the "real world"; the educational process itself is foreplay before life as a professional.
